Cauliflower Steaks With Tomato Sauce & Melted Cheese

6-8 pcs | 40 minutes

Ingredients

2 cauliflower

Olive oil

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

Tomato Sauce

250ml passata sauce

1 small can tomato puree

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp chilli flakes

½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

200g Audu Topping with Mozzarella

Dried oregano

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  2. Rinse your cauliflower, remove  the leaves and then cut them in half. Then cut a medium-thick slice from each of the halved pieces to form a steak.
  3. Arrange your cauliflower steaks on the baking sheet. Mix oil, salt and pepper together and brush them on both sides. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes. Leave the oven on when your cauliflower is done baking.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the passata, tomato paste, garlic powder, oregano, chili flakes, salt and pepper together in a bowl. Arrange two tablespoons of tomato sauce on each of your cauliflower steaks, followed by a good handful of Audu Topping with Mozzarella. Sprinkle with dried oregano and place your steaks back in the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
