We are Audu. And we love dairy products.

SUSTAINABILITY!

For us, sustainability means striving to constantly offer products with a lower CO2 footprint.

We partner with Carbon Cloud, an independent organization that helps calculate, understand, share and reduce CO2 footprints. Below you can see our carbon footprint and what we compare ourselves to and link to Carbon Cloud's calculations.

So how do we make a difference?

At Audu, we want to make it easier for you. On average, a Dane emits 17 tons of CO2 per year. According to the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, we should reduce to 2-3 tons of CO2 per world citizen by 2050. So how do we do it, and where do we even start? At Audu, we want to make it easier to eat climate smart. That’s why we’ve worked with Carbon Cloud to calculate the full CO2 footprint of our products and put it on the packaging, compared to their traditional counterparts.

So you can see exactly how much difference you make when you choose a product from Audu.

You can read more about Carbon Cloud’s work with CO2 data here, and you can learn more about our calculations here.

At Audu we love cheese, but we’re not bound by tradition at all. That’s why we combine milk and cheese with wonderful ingredients from the plant kingdom to lower the carbon footprint. So it makes perfect sense to us. Typically we use legumes, which are a good source of protein, coconut oil, and potato flour in small amounts.
