Mac & cheese

2 portions

2.5 dl macaroni (pasta of your choice, but not instant macaroni)

25 g butter

1.5 tbsp wheat flour

2.5 dl milk

salt and black pepper

1 bag of Audu Cheddar

Do this:

  1. Set the oven to 225 degrees grill function. Cook the macaroni and remove 1-2 minutes from the cooking time so that the pasta is properly al dente.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and whisk in the flour.
  3. Add a little milk at a time, whisking constantly. Bring to the boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Grate the cheddar cheese and stir in the macaroni.
  6. Fill a mold with the pasta and top with grated mozzarella.
  7. Bake on high in the oven for 5-10 minutes until the cheese has a nice color.
